im using the rig now, is there a way to keyframe switching back and forth from ik to fk?
Hey, Yeah you just need to insert keys on the custom properties that control the IK/FK switch. Then you can insert another keyframe when you enable or disable it to alternate between them as you need. Same design as most rigs with IK/FK switching :).
@@oliversimonnet im a decent amount way through my animation. adding a key shouldnt break anything right?
@@Wonton-the-Sea-Snail Depends. But generally no. It will only alter what the desired limb bones are constrained to (Ik or FK control bones) for the period it's keyed at that value for. Once you key it "off" again the limb will follow the FK bones once again. But also. Meh. make a backup save, key it and find out hah.

Hay Oliver, amazing work on the rig! Its really amazing that this thing is free, But I'm having a problem with it which is how to duplicate/instance multiples of the same rig"MT-103" as you can see I'm pretty bad at rigging in general, and I don't even know what's "Link" or "Proxy" is, Would love to get the creator help!

Hey buddy. You might remember me from a while back where I asked for permission to use your picture of the atlas rig you made. Was a huge success. My lecturer really enjoyed my "magazine article" we had to do as a task. :D I got a question for you. Did you make the controllers/manipulators yourself or did you download them somewhere? I am 100% sure one of my lecturers used similar ones. He showed us the website where he got them from. I didnt write it down and I cant find it anywhere. I really like them, they are easy to read and very simple.
